National Health Insurance (NHI)

All citizens who reside in Korea and contribute to National Health Insurance (NHI) will be covered by National Health Insurance Program, Korea’s universal health insurance scheme. In addition to NHI, we offer Group Term Life and Personal Accident Insurance with worldwide coverage to you via our Hong Kong insurance plans (you can refer to the Financial Health section for more details).

National health insurance service provides various forms of health care service including benefits in kind and benefits in cash. Benefits in kind include health care benefits and health check-ups, and benefits in cash include reimbursement of the expenses under the copayment ceiling system, assistive appliance expenses for the disabled, and pregnancy examination & childbirth expenses.
