What is the program?
Our group medical plan provides insurance coverage to employees for expenses related to hospitalization due to illness, disease or injury.
Who is the insurance carrier?
Care Health.
Key program benefits:
- Family floater sum insured of INR 6 lac.
- Covers up to a maximum of 5 dependents (Spouse/Partner, Children, Parents/Parents-in-Law).
- Coverage provides for standard hospitalization and surgery, including pre-post hospitalization expenses and day-care procedures.
- Maternity benefits including coverage for the baby effective with the date of birth, pre and post natal expenses, well baby and mother charges.
- Additional coverage for Modern Treatments, Infertility Treatment etc.
- Pre-existing conditions are covered under our plan.
- Cashless process available for in-network hospitals.
- We are also pleased to share the following new enhancements from 2025:

How do I enroll?
The Benefits Team will enroll you for insurance benefits in your first month with Dow Jones. Please make sure your personal information on Workday including full legal name, national ID number, date of birth and bank account details are accurate for insurance enrollment.
Please also input your dependents’ information here on Workday so that we can enroll your spouse, children or parents for medical insurance if applicable. If you wish to enroll your parents (or parents-in-law) for the medical plan, please also complete the Dependent Parent Declaration Form within 1 week from your join date (For existing employees, the enrollment window will be January during plan renewal).
