We work with healthcare providers to offer coverage for mental health care via your local medical insurance plan (subject to availability by country). Check out these benefits available to Malaysia medical plan members:

Outpatient Mental Care Benefit
The cost of outpatient mental illness for consultation, medication and treatment cost by Psychiatrist or Physician for the following are covered under the Outpatient Specialist Care benefits, subject to Panel GP referral letter.
(a) Schizophrenia;
(b) Paranoid and other psychotic disorders;
(c) Bipolar disorders (hypomanic, manic, depressive and mixed);
(d) Major depressive disorders (single episode or recurrent);
(e) Schizoaffective disorders (bipolar or depressive);
(f) Pervasive developmental disorders;
(g) Obsessive-compulsive disorders;
(h) Depression;
(i) Panic disorder;
(j) Post-traumatic stress disorders (acute, chronic, or with delayed onset);
(k) Anorexia nervosa and bulimia nervosa;

Inpatient Mental Care Benefit
Inpatient Mental Illness Allowance of RM1,500 (lump sum) per life time is payable upon hospitalization due to the following mental illness, subject to waiting period.
(a) Severe Major Depressive Disorder (MDD)
(b) Bipolar Disorder I
(c) Severe Obsessive Compulsive Disorder (OCD)
(d) Schizophrenia
(e) Schizoaffective Disorder
