How do I enroll in benefits?
The Benefits Team will enroll you for insurance benefits including medical plan in your first month with Dow Jones. Please make sure your personal information in Workday including full legal name, HKID, date of birth, mailing address and bank account details are accurate for insurance enrollment. A Welcome Email will be sent to your work email with instructions to register for the Generali account when the enrollment for medical insurance is completed.
Please also input your dependents’ information here in Workday so that we can enroll your spouse/partner or children for medical insurance if applicable.

When are new hires eligible for health and welfare benefits?
New hires will be eligible for the Hong Kong group insurance benefits including medical and life insurance, and other welfare benefits such as wellbeing reimbursement, ClassPass, Headspace, Peppy and Employee Assistance Program (EAP) from your join date with Dow Jones.
In the event that you need to visit a panel clinic before the you get the E-Medical card, please pay the consultation charges first and claim via insurer later. In case of a medical crisis before your enrollment process is completed, please contact us via Sofi and we will assist in escalating the case on priority.
Is there a cost to my healthcare?
The medical insurance plan is fully sponsored by Dow Jones for you and your eligible dependents.
When am I eligible for pension?
For retirement benefits, both you and the Company have the ability to save towards your retirement through either the Mandatory Provident Fund (MPF scheme) or Dow Jones Asia Retirement Benefit Fund (ORSO scheme). New hires will be eligible for the pension scheme from your join date with Dow Jones (subject to statutory guideline of continuous employment of 60 days for MPF scheme).
How do I enroll in the pension?
You will have an one-off irrevocable choice to join either of the Mandatory Provident Fund (MPF scheme) or Dow Jones Asia Retirement Benefit Fund (ORSO scheme). Refer to the DJ Retirement Scheme Choice Booklet which is shared with you during onboarding for details and the Payroll Team will work with you on completion of relevant enrollment forms.
